Rolebroker values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal data when you

use our website, register a candidate profile or contact us on behalf of a company.

    Rolebroker is responsible for the processing of personal data collected through the website and Rolebroker’s services.

    This means that Rolebroker determines why personal data is processed and how that processing is carried out.


  1. What personal data we collect.

    When you register a candidate profile, Rolebroker may collect information such as your name, email address, linkedin profile,

    current role, employer, roles of interest, location preferences, information contained in your resumé and any

    other information you choose to provide. We ask that you do not provide sensitive personal data or other

    information that is not relevant to your career profile.


  1. Why we process your personal data

    We process personal data to create and manage candidate profiles, understand candidates experience, identify relevant career

    opportunities and contact candidates when a suitable opportunity arises.

    For company contacts, we process personal data to handle enquiries, communicate about recruitment needs and

    provide Rolebroker’s services.


  1. Lawful basis of processing

    Rolebrokers processes personal data on the basis of an applicable lawful basis under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

    When you register a candidate profile, we process the information necessary to provide the service and career

    representation you have requested.

    For certain processing activities, Rolebroker may also rely on legitimate interest, for example to manage candidate

    relationships and handle company enquiries, provided that these interests are not overridden by the rights and interests

    of the individual concerned.


  1. When we share candidate information with companies

    Rolebroker does not share a candidate’s identity, resumé or other identifying information with a company unless the candidate has

    first approved the sharing of the information in connection with a specific opportunity.

    Once the candidate has approved an introduction, relevant information may be shared with the company concerned

    in order to facilitate contact and a potential recruitment process.


  1. How long we retain personal data

    Personal data contained in a candidate profile is retained for as long as the candidate wishes to be represented by Rolebroker and

    the information is needed to maintain the candidate relationship and identify relevant career opporutnities. We

    regularly review candidate profiles and delete or anonymise information that is no longer needed.

    Information relating to company contacts is retained for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry, maintain the

    business relationship or comply with legal obligations.


  1. Your rights

    You have the right to obtain information about the personal data Rolebroker processes about you and to request the correction of

    inaccurate information. Under certain circumstances, you may also request that your personal data be deleted, that the processing

    of your data be restricted or object to the processing. You can contact Rolebroker at any time if you no longer wish to be represented

    and would like your candidate profile to be removed. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Autority for

    Privacy Protection (IMY) if you believe that your personal data has been processed incorrectly.


  1. How we protect and store personal data

    Rolebroker takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or

    other unlawful processing. We use external service providers for services such as website hosting, form handling and

    data storage. These providers may process personal data on RoleBroker’s behalf and are subject to appropriate contractual

    and security requirments. If personal data is processed outside the EU/EEA, Rolebroker ensures that the transfer is carried

    out using a valid transfer mechanism in accordance with the GDPR.
